Day 1

Pick up and transfer to Jinja - city tour

Pick up and transfer to Jinja - city tour

Upon arrival at Entebbe airport in the morning hours / depending on your location in Kampala, meet our company representative/drive guide and transfer to Jinja. Take the Eastern route via Mabira forest – Uganda’s largest rain forest, Lugazi sugar plantations, and other interesting places as you will observe on the road. It’s a 2 hours drive from Kampala with en-route sceneries. Arrive in Jinja at a good time for lunch at your hotel, check-in, and later afternoon, explore a bit of the town, or stay at your hotel/ lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the source of the Nile.

Day 2

Half day rafting, and source of the Nile

Half day rafting, and source of the Nile

After morning breakfast, drive to the starting point of your water rafting experience. You will be briefed about the activity and then proceed to the rafting spot where you will be given gear and instructions, this usually starts at 9 am. Enjoy your half-day of amazing fun along the longest river in Africa. Retreat from the activity and have lunch at your hotel.
Later afternoon, connect to the source of the Nile and boat cruise of the Nile/Lake Victoria. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Transfer to Sipi Falls

After breakfast, meet your driver guide and embark on your journey to Kapchorwa district close to Mount Elgon. The area is mountainous with good scenery. It’s a 4 hours drive with en route lunch in Mbale town before you proceed to check into your lodge to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Sipi River Lodge.

Explore Sipi Falls

Explore Sipi Falls

After your early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the Sipi Falls offices where you will get a guide for the Sipi Falls hike. Sipi Falls has 3 falls at Mount Elson foothills that stretch to 85m, 75m, and 100m respectively. Depending on your fitness, you may visit all the 3 falls or choose to visit two falls. In the evening drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Very early morning after breakfast, depart for Kidepo via Moroto. During the journey, you will be graced with beautiful sceneries of landscapes, homesteads, and mountains in Nothern Uganda among others. It’s a full-day drive with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge after arrival.

Game drive in the Narus Valley

Breakfast will be served early morning and drive to the Narus Valley for a morning game drive. Narus Valley is known to possess the largest buffalo herds than anywhere else in the entire world. There are also high chances of spotting big cats on a hunt and a lucky day; you may spot the rare cheetahs too which are endemic to Kidepo in the whole of Uganda. Head back to the lodge for lunch and embark on an evening game drive in the Narus Valley again. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Enjoy breakfast and drive to the Kidepo Valley for another game drive close to South Sudan. This area is best known for viewing the Ostriches and other wild cats including the cheater and not forgetting the hot springs. The park has great observation points with binoculars and you will be happy to use them and you can never have enough of a game drive in this park. Return later afternoon to unwind and rest at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Depart from Kidepo National Park early after your breakfast and begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park which is the far Northwestern part of Uganda, you will have several stopovers if necessary for lunch and stretching in Gulu town. Arrive late evening and connect to check in your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge.

Morning delta game drive boat cruise at the bottom of the falls

Early morning after your breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the northern part of the delta. This is where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, cape buffaloes, leopards, (on a lucky day), and different species of antelopes including the Uganda kobs, Jackson hartebeest, Oribi, waterbucks, among others. After the game drive, return to your lodge to refresh and have lunch.
In the afternoon you will go on a boat cruise to see the magnificent falls along the River Nile. Cruising along the bottom of the falls will expose you to the park’s streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodiles along the sandbanks, different bird species, and large numbers of different species getting down to drink and bathe. After viewing the falls, return to the landing site meet your driver guide, and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive out of the park to proceed to Ziwa Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Lunch will be served depending on where you will be. You will be dropped off at a place of your convenience or proceed to Entebbe airport for your onward flight back home.
