Day 1

After an early breakfast, you will be briefed by the guide about the 4-day safari. Embark on the journey from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park. You will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls. This site gives spectacular views of some parts of the park and Murchison Falls. You will take photos and proceed to the lodge for check-in, relaxation and overnight.

Day 2
Game drive and boat cruise
Game drive and boat cruise
Wake up early, have breakfast and set off by 6:00 am for the game drive. The drive gives possibilities of catching the early risers and big cats in action before they retire to their havens. Other animals you will see during the drive include buffaloes, African elephants, Lelwel’s hartebeests, Nubian giraffes, and oribis, among other species. Common bird species include the goliath heron, the African skimmer and the red-throated bee-eater.
Shortly after lunch, head for a launch cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls. This water safari will expose you to schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles busking by the riverside, different bird species, and other wildlife drinking water on the shores. Depending on your energy levels, you can return to the lodge for relaxation or continue with a short game drive.

Day 3
Chimpanzee trekking
Chimpanzee trekking
After a delightful breakfast, drive to the Budongo Forest headquarters for a briefing. Later, transfer to the trekking point and begin the trekking. You’ll have a chance to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat, learn their behaviours, watch them feed, and see the juveniles jumping from one tree branch to another, making noises to each other. You will see various colorful bird species during the chimpanzee trekking. After the thrilling experience, drive to your hotel for relaxation.

Day 4
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and transfer to Kampala
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and transfer to Kampala
Wake up and have breakfast at leisure. Shortly thereafter, check out from the lodge. You will stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Meet the guide and get a briefing before heading to the bush in search of the rhinos. The tracking will take approximately 3 hours. Have lunch before proceeding with your journey to Kampala.
