Arusha to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to the picturesque Lake Manyara National Park, a gem known for its lush woodlands, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife. Following a hearty breakfast, your adventure continues with a scenic drive to the Serengeti Ndutu region, situated between the renowned Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This area is celebrated for its role in the Great Migration, particularly during the calving season from December to March.

With its open plains and acacia forests, Ndutu provides an exceptional opportunity to witness the birth of thousands of wildebeest calves daily and observe the dramatic interactions between predators and prey. You may also encounter six species of wild cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Descend into the crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a day of game viewing. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports a dense population of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and an array of bird species.

As you explore the crater, you’ll learn about its geological history and ecological significance. In the evening, return to Karatu for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
