3-Day Murchison Mid-Range Safari

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Transfer to Murchison, Rhino Tracking and Top of the falls hike

In the morning, between 6:00am and 10:00am, we will begin our drive to Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch for a two-hour rhino tracking activity. Afterward, we will continue our journey to the park, stopping for lunch along the way.

Following lunch, we will resume our drive to the park for our second activity of the day—a hike to the top of Murchison Falls. Depending on our walking speed, this hike will take approximately 30 to 50 minutes and offer a chance to see the famous falls from above.

After the hike, we will head to the savanna area of the park for a short evening game drive. If the weather is favorable, this will be a wonderful opportunity for a golden hour game drive to observe beautiful mammals and other wildlife in the park.

Finally, we will proceed to the lodge for check-in and spend the night there.

Game Drives and Boat Ride

The day begins at 6:00 am with a warm cup of coffee or tea, setting the mood for an adventure filled morning. Soon after, it’s off to the park for an exhilarating game drive and a scenic boat ride. As the sun rises, golden light spills over the landscape, and the excitement of spotting wildlife builds. A stop midway offers a hearty bush breakfast surrounded by nature’s sounds chirping birds, rustling leaves, and distant animal calls. Later head out to look for lions which may lounge in the grass, leopards slip through the brush, giraffes stretch for treetop leaves, while elephants and buffalo roam the plains. On the water, hippos' surface, crocodiles bask, and birds dot the sky. Back at the lodge, a flavorful lunch awaits before a relaxing afternoon by the pool, soaking in the peaceful rhythm of nature.

Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, we will check out of the rooms at 8:00 a.m. and begin our drive to your lodge or the airport in Entebbe. We will stop for lunch along the way and then continue our journey.

Upon arrival at your lodge or the airport, our Murchison and Rhino tracking experience will end.
