Arusha-Tarangire
After breakfast, your Guruguru Safari guide will come get you from your lodging. You will travel to Tarangire National Park by car this morning. On good asphalt roads, the transit drive takes about two and a half hours. The Tarangire River, which flows through the park, is the source of its name. During the dry season, the only water source for the local wildlife is this "river of warthogs." Elephant families, which frequently gather along the river, are the park's most famous feature. Additionally, you might spot hartebeests, bushbucks, and giraffes. Lions and leopards are among the many predators that closely follow these animals. Tarangire is home to more bird nesting species than any other place on Earth!

There is nothing like the Serengeti. It is well-known for having expansive, open grasslands that make for great wildlife viewing opportunities. Numerous animals, including crocodiles, buffalos, hippos, and impalas, can be found in the Serengeti. Along with the famous scenery, you're likely to run into predators and possibly spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Central Serengeti-South & Ndutu
Following breakfast, you will make your way to Ndutu across the Serengeti, pausing along the way to take in more wonder! Despite having a wealth of animals, the Great Migration every year is arguably its most well-known event. An enormous number of antelopes, zebras, and wildebeests travel annually in search of new grazing. If you know where to look, you can find the migration in any given month! The migration typically occurs in Ndutu, which is technically a portion of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Southern Serengeti during this time of year. Lake Ndutu is one of the area's primary features. Like the most of the lakes in the Rift Valley, it is an alkaline lake and a valuable water.

Ndutu
You will leave for a full day of game driving in Ndutu after a filling breakfast. You will investigate the variety of habitats present here, such as savannah, woodlands, and swamps. If you're lucky, you might spot enormous herds of antelopes, zebras, and wildebeests that occasionally extend to the horizon. The soft mooing of the wildebeests is a hauntingly lovely sound. Many of the female wildebeests give birth to their young within a brief period of time (usually in February), dropping over half a million young in this amazing act of coordinated birthing. There is little cover from the grass, and a range of predators, including lions, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs, can easily prey on the young. Within three days of birth, wildebeest calves are typically strong enough to keep up with the herd, and they can run minutes after birth. You will arrive at your tented camp in time for dinner and an overnight stay following a full day of exploration.

Ndutu-Ngorongoro crater
As you meander through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area this morning, you will see more animals along the way (giraffes frequently travel along the verdant slopes). It should be lunchtime when you arrive at the crater. At first glance, Ngorongoro Crater appears to be a forgotten world. Steep volcanic walls conceal a pristine wilderness with shimmering lakes and swamps, pockets of acacia woodland, and expansive savannah. A massive volcano exploded and fell in on itself two to three million years ago, creating the crater. It's an adventure to drive down into the crater, and once you get to the crater floor, you'll soon be surrounded by over 500 different species of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests. Although the endangered black rhinos can occasionally be seen in the open grasslands, your best chance of seeing them is in the crater. Following a game drive in the afternoon, you will travel to your Karatu lodging.

Karatu-Lake manyara NP
After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari, Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, Salt Lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes —not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs.
After an extensive drive, you will head back to Arusha where you will stop your safari.
