Arusha to Ndutu Area

The safari begins in Arusha, where your guide will meet you and depart with your lunch for an unforgettable afternoon game drive in Serengeti Ndutu, located between Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, you'll continue the game drive in search of the wildebeest migration, which is most concentrated in Ndutu during this time.

Ndutu offers exceptional wildlife viewing from December to March, the green season. Situated in the southern part of the Serengeti plains, Ndutu is home to the daily birth of around 8,000 wildebeest calves. The area is dotted with acacia forests and is renowned for its diverse predator species, including leopards, lions, cheetahs, caracals, African wildcats, and servals.

Ndutu Area

Today, you’ll spend the entire day exploring the vast Ndutu plains, delving into the heart of the wildebeest migration. Witness the daily births of hundreds of wildebeest calves and watch as predators take advantage of the plentiful prey.

With picnic lunches in hand, you'll enjoy a meal in the bush, surrounded by the stunning sights and sounds of the Serengeti. After a day full of exploration, return to Sero Tented Camps to unwind and rejuvenate, ready for the next day's adventure.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a journey of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll begin your descent into this breathtaking volcanic caldera, home to an incredible array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, black rhinos, and a diverse range of bird species. The lush, fertile floor of the crater offers a striking contrast to the open plains of Ndutu, providing a well-rounded safari experience. Enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Crater floor. After exploring the crater, you'll begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening. This will mark the conclusion of our adventure together for now.
