Zanzibar - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins today! After being picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar, you’ll transfer to the airport for a 1-hour flight to Arusha in a small plane. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at Arusha Airport and take you to hotel for breakfast before starting your journey. From there, you’ll drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

During your game drive in a vehicle with an open roof, you’ll explore the park’s seasonal swamps, savannahs, and the Tarangire River, a vital water source for diverse wildlife. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species.

As the day concludes, you’ll head to your lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for more adventures ahead.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/Kilimanjaro - Zanzibar

After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural wonder teeming with over 120 animal species, including the iconic Big Five. This is one of the few places where you can spot the endangered black rhino grazing and hippos cooling off in the water. From the comfort of your open safari vehicle, you’ll have excellent opportunities to observe and photograph Africa’s renowned wildlife.

The crater is alive with predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside herds of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, Cape buffalos, and more—making it one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch by the scenic hippo pool before returning to Arusha.

From there, you’ll catch a flight back to Zanzibar, where our driver will transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
