After an early breakfast, you will be briefed by the guide about the 4 days’ safari. You will then set off from your hotel as you embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will meet the site guide and get a briefing before heading to the bush in search of the rhinos. The tracking will take approximately 3 hours. Return and have lunch before proceeding with our journey to Masindi town.
You will proceed to the park and visit the top of the falls. This site gives spectacular views of some parts of the park as well as Murchison falls. You will take photos and proceed to the lodge for check-in, relaxation and overnight.

Game drive and boat cruise

Wake up early, have breakfast and set off by 6:00am for the game drive. The drive gives possibilities of catching the early risers and big cats in action before they retire to their havens. Other animals you will see during the drive include Lake Chad buffaloes, African elephants, Lelwel’s hartebeest, Nubian giraffes, oribis among other species. Common bird species include the Goliath heron, African skimmer and the Red-throated bee eater.
Shortly after lunch head for a launch cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls. This water safari will expose you to schools of hippos, Nile crocodile busking by the river side and different bird species and other wildlife drinking water at the shores. Depending on the fatigue, you can choose to head back to the lodge for relaxation.

Nature walk and bird watching

Wake up have breakfast meet your armed park ranger explore the park on foot. You will be able to see various animals such as giraffes, elephants, baboons, warthogs, different tree and plant species closely head back to the lodge for a hot lunch and after head out for bird watching this park has a variety of bird species has both forest and water birds like open billed stork, Abyssinian ground hornbill, giant heron, veracious dove and many others listen to the sweet sounds of the birds and enjoy the cool breeze then head back to the lodge for an overnight.
