Welcome to Rwanda

Morning arrival into Kigali International Airport, meet and greet by your guide. Introduction and a short briefing, after which you embark on sightseeing tour of Kigali city Including the Genocide Memorial Museum and a visit to the local market.

After Lunch, We drive 2hrs 30 mins to our accommodation in Musanze. This will be our home for the next 3 nights

First Gorilla Trekking

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for check in and register for your 1st Gorilla Trek and allocation of the Gorilla family to visit.
After the briefing, your drive guide will transfer you further up-to the mountain – to the trek start point, from where the exciting gorilla trek adventure commences

Upon sighting the Gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical one hour as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing and resting

At the end of your one-hour audience with the Gorillas family, re-trace your steps back to the trek start point and rejoin your driver Guide and vehicle. Drive back to your lodge for freshening up and lunch.

Afternoon is at leisure to simply relax at your lodge, with dinner included

Golden Monkey Trekking

Your driver Guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for check in and register for Golden Monkeys trek.
Note: Just as with the Gorillas – upon sighting the Golden monkeys, you will be in their presence for only ONE HOUR
At the end of your one-hour audience with the Golden Monkey family, re-trace your steps back to the trek start point and rejoin your driver Guide and vehicle. Drive back to your lodge for freshening up and lunch.
After lunch, Relax and later depart for Red Rocks Cultural Centre for a chance to experience the Local Production of Banana Beer.
