Your driver-guide will meet you at the airport upon your arrival, warmly welcoming you and providing a detailed briefing about the destinations you'll explore during your 10-day safari in Uganda. From there, you'll embark on a journey to western Uganda, home to Kibale National Park, famously known as the primate capital of the world. On the way, you'll stop in Fort Portal Tourism City for lunch, enjoying the stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains, lush green landscapes, and other breathtaking scenery. Afterward, you'll continue your journey and arrive at your pre-booked lodge, where you'll check in and settle for the night.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Top of the World
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center, where chimpanzee trekking begins. Here, a ranger guide will brief you on the rules and guidelines to follow during the trek.
You will then venture into Kibale's lush tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzees. Once you find them, you'll have an hour to observe their behavior, capture photos and videos, and ask your guide any questions about their lifestyle. Afterward, you'll trek back to the visitor center and return to the lodge for a delicious lunch.
In the evening, you'll visit the Isunga Cultural Community Tours, located near Kibale's conservation headquarters. A local guide will take you to the "Top of the World," where you'll enjoy stunning views of three crater lakes, the Rwenzori Mountain ranges, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, tea plantations, and Fort Portal City. After this memorable experience, you'll head back to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Evening Boat Cruise
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest park, named in honor of Queen Elizabeth's visit to the country. The park lies at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, famously known as the "Mountains of the Moon."
Upon arrival, you'll check in at your lodge and have lunch before heading out for an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. During the cruise, you'll encounter hippos and crocodiles in the water, along with elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife that gather along the channel's shores. After this unforgettable experience, you'll return to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Morning Boat cruise and Evening Game Drive
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a morning boat cruise. Along the riverbanks, you'll witness a variety of bird species feeding and spot animals such as elephants and antelopes that frequent the river daily. After the cruise, return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll head to the Ishasha sector, located in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, which you'll have the chance to see in their natural habitat. In addition to the lions, you'll spot antelopes, their common prey, as well as various bird species. After this thrilling game drive, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Road trip to Bwindi impenetrable National park
Wake up at your leisure and enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the southern part of Uganda in Kisoro District. This remarkable park is home to over 51 reptile species, 120 mammals, 200 tree species, and 357 bird species, among other attractions. However, its greatest fame lies in being home to half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, a highlight for many visitors.
Due to the long journey, you’ll arrive in the evening and proceed directly to your lodge to relax and settle in for the night.

Gorilla trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters to pick up your permits. From there, you'll proceed to the starting point where a ranger guide will brief you on the trek and then lead you into the misty slopes of Bwindi in search of the mountain gorillas.
The trek duration varies depending on how far the gorillas have moved and can last anywhere from 1 to 7 hours or even longer. Once you locate them, you'll have an unforgettable one hour to observe their behavior, including playing, grooming, and mating, while capturing photos of these magnificent creatures. After the hour of gorilla watching, you'll return to the park office to receive certificates of participation and then head back to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll immerse yourself in the Batwa cultural experience, where you'll enjoy vibrant cultural dances, taste traditional local meals (if you wish), and witness their unique fire-lighting techniques using sticks.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Horseback
After a hearty breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and take you to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest yet fascinating park, renowned as the home of zebras. Along the way, you'll stop at the Igongo Cultural Center for lunch before continuing your journey to your booked lodge.
In the evening, after some time to relax, you'll enjoy a horseback ride through the park, an activity organized by Mihingo Lodge. This ride offers a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of the park's eastern section. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning game drive and Evening Boat Cruise
After a delicious breakfast, head out for a morning game drive to explore the beauty of Lake Mburo National Park. As you drive through, you'll be rewarded with sightings of various wildlife, including eland, impalas, and other antelope species, as well as zebras grazing alongside buffaloes. The park's acacia trees are also home to over 320 bird species, such as ibises, starlings, bishops, and many others.
After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During the cruise, you'll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of water birds, including the Shoebill and the rare finfoot. Afterward, head back to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Transfer to Entebbe or Kampala and City Tour
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and embark on your road trip back to Entebbe/Kampala. Along the way, you'll make a stop at the equator for a memorable photo opportunity before continuing your journey. Once in Entebbe/Kampala, you will visit several notable attractions, including the Uganda Wildlife Education Center, where you can see animals you may have missed in the wild, botanical gardens, Lake Victoria, and local markets, and the Uganda Museum, home to the country’s oldest artifacts and a wealth of historical information. You’ll also have the chance to explore cultural centers and markets, where you can enjoy fresh fruits grown in Uganda’s fertile soils. If you're interested in religious sites, you can opt to visit the Uganda Martyrs Shrine. After a full day of exploration, head to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening. In Entebbe.
