Kidepo Valley National Park

Around 6:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and start the drive to the Karamoja region. The drive will take approximately 10-11 hours, so it's best to start early. You will have breakfast and lunch on the way, with bathroom stops along the route.

We will use the central route via Karuma, Gulu, and Kitgum, which is the most popular route, covering about 571 kilometers and taking around 10 hours. During the drive, you will enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Upon arrival at your lodge, you will be welcomed, checked in, and then enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to the park gate, sign in, and then enter to begin the game drive. You will see a variety of wildlife, including buffaloes, elephants, zebras, and lions. In the afternoon, we’ll return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will be driven to visit a Karamojong community to learn about their culture and participate in some of their traditions. After the experience, we’ll drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Visitors have the opportunity to explore these vast savannahs and valleys on guided game drives, providing an excellent platform for spotting a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat. The park's remote location enhances the chance of encountering wildlife without the distractions often found in more popular national parks.

Kidepo Valley National Park - Kampala

After an early breakfast, you’ll check out of the room and start driving back to Kampala. We will use the eastern route to give you more views of another beautiful region in Uganda.

We will have lunch on the way and take bathroom breaks. Your arrival in Kampala will mark the end of your tour.
