Meet and greet by your Guide who will pick you up from Kigali International Airport and transfer you the hotel in Kigali for about -/+20 minutes.

Kigali City Tour | Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

In the morning, you will head out to the Genocide Museum for a tour, and then after we embark on a drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park which is home to the incredible chimpanzees in Rwanda.

Arrive in the evening and then proceed to the lodge for dinner and relaxation as we wait for tomorrow’s program.

Explore Nyungwe | Chimp Tracking & Canopy Walk

Wake up Very early morning at 4 am and your guide will pick you up and transfer you from the lodge to the briefing point.
Enter the forest by 6 am, and then search for the chimps in Nyungwe.

After enjoying time and taking pictures with chimps, like at 11:00 am, head out for the canopy walk experience. Discover Nyungwe from above in the forest with the views of the expansive forest.

You will then head out for our hot lunch and then return to the lodge and relax from the days’ activities. Dinner later and an overnight stay.

Colobus Monkey Tracking | Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

The trekking starts with a briefing from the park office headquarters in Uwinka, where your driver guide will transfer you to.

After learning about the expectations while in the forest, you will be led into the forest with the ranger guides to start the experience. You are allowed one hour sight-seeing with the Colobus monkeys sight, after which you start the trek out of the forest.

After this trek, we transfer you will start heading to Musanze and to Volcanoes National Park, home to the mountain gorillas.

Gorilla Trekking

Tracking the Gorillas is everyone's dream. Seeing the Gorillas in their natural habitats is truly an amazing experience.

After breakfast, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking. The tracking will start immediately after the briefing.

This is a memorable and amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around, and also do their day-to-day activities. This activity can take between 2-6 hours since it’s dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you take photos.

Return to the lodge after for some rest and relaxation. Dinner later and an overnight stay.

Golden Monkey Trekking | Transfer to Kigali

Wake up in the morning, briefing is in the morning at 8am. Enter the forest after there to find these incredible primates. Once you find them, spend 1 hour with the monkeys as you interact with them. Later proceed back the lodge freshen up and proceed heading to Kigali.

However, before returning to Kigali, after your trekking, you can take a walk around the Gorilla Conservation Centre, or the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.

You will then drive to Kigali for an overnight stay.

Rest and Relaxation | Departure

Have breakfast in the morning, and then head back to your rooms for some rest and relaxation. Drop off to Kigali international airport later, arriving in time for your check-in and flight back to your home country.
