Arusha to Ndutu Serengeti

You will depart this morning for Ndutu, one of Africa's top game parks and a part of the lower Serengeti. You can start to appreciate the size of this region as you drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to the Serengeti National Park. As you cruise through this savannah with acacia striations, you will be astounded by the variety of animals and birds. You will game drive en route before arriving in Ndutu in time for a half-day game drive.

Ndutu Serengeti

You will travel further into Ndutu today to witness the massive wildebeest migration. During the calving season, which runs from December to March, zebras and wildebeest give birth to their young, and you are likely to witness a live birth. Because lions and leopards prey on young, defenseless calves, this is also a great time to observe predator activity.

You'll have another full-day game drive today as you make your way from Ndutu to the Central Serengeti.
The freedom to design your schedule is yours today. A half-day game drive in the Ndutu and another half-day game drive in the Central Serengeti are both options, or you will spend an additional full day in the Ndutu before traveling to the Central.

A full-day game drive in the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of the few locations on Earth where people and wild animals live side by side, will be your reward today. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
You will depart Ngorongoro in the afternoon and travel to Arusha, where your safari will conclude.
