Fly Addis Ababa to Jinka – Visit the Ari Peoples
Morning 6:00 AM: Early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Jinka (~1 hour).
7:30 AM: Arrive in Jinka and meet your local guide at the airport. 8:30 AM: Transfer to the nearby Ari tribe village.
The Ari are known for their artisanal skills, such as pottery, traditional brewing, and blacksmithing.
Experience their daily life, including coffee ceremonies, farming practices, and weaving demonstrations.
Midday 12:30 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant or Eco Omo Lodge.
Enjoy authentic Ethiopian dishes infused with local flavors.
Afternoon 2:00 PM: Visit the South Omo Research Center in Jinka.
Learn about the diverse tribes of the Omo Valley, their cultures, and anthropological significance.
3:30 PM: Free time to explore Jinka’s local market (if it’s market day). Engage with locals and shop for handmade crafts.
Evening 6:00 PM: Check into Eco Omo Lodge or similar accommodations.
7:30 PM: Dinner at the lodge.

Visit the Mursi People – Return to Addis Ababa
Morning 5:30 AM: Early breakfast at the lodge.
6:00 AM: Drive to Mago National Park (~1.5 hours), home to the famous Mursi People.
The Mursi are renowned for their lip plates, body scarification, and unique cultural practices.
Interact respectfully with the Mursi people and learn about their traditions. You’ll have opportunities for photography (with their consent).
Midday 11:30 AM: Return to Jinka and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or your lodge.
Afternoon 1:30 PM: Short visit to a local artisan workshop or additional nearby peoples if time permits (e.g., Banna or Hammer People). 2:30 PM: Transfer to Jinka Airport.
Evening 4:00 PM: Flight back to Addis Ababa.
5:30 PM: Arrival in Addis Ababa. End of tour.
