Day 1-3
Immersive city explorations with locals
Immersive city explorations with locals
Hit the ground running in the Mother City (Cape Town) with an introduction to the city with a walking foodie tour with a local chef. This city immersion will give you a taste of Cape Town's history, culture and cuisine. You should have your bearings after that.
Cape Town is a city best experienced outdoors, and your second day is all about that. Embark on a full-day exploration of the peninsula (including a bit of kayaking with the jackass penguins at Boulders Beach). Drop in at Cape Point, Simons Town, Hout Bay and, of course, the scenic Chapman's Peak.
While the cable car is super popular, that isn't how an explorer does it. We've connected with some daredevils to abseil down this iconic mountain. During your time in the city, you will also have some time at leisure so that you can also connect with the city on your terms and in your own way.

Spend the day with our vino friends, exploring the vineyards and indulging in delicious wine tastings - while on a bicycle! Had enough of people? It's time for a bit of wildlife and nature! Board a local flight from Cape Town to Durban, the gateway to the pristine wildlife reserves of Zululand. Enter into Manyoni Private Game Reserve - a 23,000-hectare Big 5 wilderness offering some of the best value safari experiences in Southern Africa. Spend 3 nights in this remote piece of wilderness where you will embark on twice daily 3-hour game drives in open safari vehicles with experienced and passionate rangers. For the adrenalin junkies, walking safaris can also be arranged when planned in advance. Your morning game drive starts at 06h00, and your evening game drive begins at 16h00 and ends after dark at 19h00.
Manyoni is also renowned for its conservation experiences. While all experiences are subject to availability, the reserve is home to a rhino orphanage and pangolin rehabilitation, among other projects. We will let you know what you can experience while at Manyoni closer to your arrival date.

Marine Safari Along the Indian Ocean
One of the best things about KwaZulu-Natal is that the Big 5 reserves are just a stone's throw away from the warm Indian Ocean coastline. Today, you will make your way to Maputaland. This area attracts leatherback and loggerhead turtles as well as humpback and Southern right whales. It is also a piece of coastline that offers amazing snorkelling. For those keen on scuba diving, this can easily be arranged in Sodwana Bay (just around the corner).
Pick your poison by exploring the coastal forest, local community, and marine experiences, or indulge in a bit of relaxation on the beach, sipping on cocktails for your final 2 nights in South Africa. This camp is all about social impact and sustainability; from the lodge design to its menu, it is a feel-good experience!
