If your arrival is early in the day, take a leisurely evening stroll around the capital, exploring vibrant local markets such as the Analakely Market, or perhaps enjoy a visit to the nearby Independence Avenue, lined with colonial-era buildings.

Today, you will catch a flight to Morondava, located on the western coast. Upon arrival, embark on a scenic drive through the western Malagasy landscape to Kirindy Reserve. The reserve is renowned for its unique wildlife, including the elusive Fossa, a predator found only in Madagascar, and several species of lemurs, including the nocturnal mouse lemur. After checking in at your lodge, head out for an afternoon visit to the reserve, where you will explore its rich diversity of flora and fauna.

This striking avenue of ancient baobab trees is especially captivating at sunset, when the golden light casts long shadows across the landscape.
