The day begins early with a guided walk through the dense rainforest of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, where you will have the opportunity to spot the world-famous Indri lemur, the largest lemur species. Along the way, you may also encounter other wildlife, such as the common brown lemur, various species of chameleons, and a vibrant array of birds, including the Madagascar blue pigeon. Antananarivo to Kirindy Forest

Today, you will take a flight to Morondava, which is located on the western coast of Madagascar. Upon your arrival, you will embark on a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of western Madagascar to Kirindy Forest. The reserve is famous for its unique wildlife, including the elusive fossa, a predator that is found only in Madagascar, as well as several species of lemurs, including the nocturnal mouse lemur. After checking into your lodge, you will head out for an afternoon visit to the reserve, where you will explore its rich diversity of flora and fauna.
