Arrival

Begin your journey by travelling to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Enjoy a scenic drive to the park, approximately 8-10 hours from Kampala. Break your journey with picturesque stops at local attractions or lunch in a small town.
Arrive at your chosen lodge near the park. After settling in, participate in a briefing at the lodge about Gorilla trekking etiquette and what to expect during the trek. Late evening, Enjoy a hearty dinner at your lodge while soaking in the natural beauty surrounding you.

Gorilla trekking

Have an early breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the park Headquarters for a morning briefing and explanations about the gentle giants. Set out with an experienced ranger guide for the gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can last anywhere from 2-6 hours, depending n the location of the gorilla family you are visiting.

Finally, encounter the gorillas, you'll have an hour to observe with the family of mountain gorillas, their behaviours and social interactions. Enjoy the beauty of the dense rainforest, and look out for other wildlife and unique flora along the way.

Cultural Experience {optional}
Engage in a cultural experience with the local Batwa community. Learn about their culture, traditions and how they eco-exist with the forest. Participate in traditional dance, crafts or village tours.
Evening: After an exhilarating adventure in the lush rainforest of Bwindi, head to Lake Bunyonyi, where you can relax, or explore picturesque islands.
