Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Giant Holiday Safaris, who will assist you with all immigration procedures and then transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your scenic road transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside landscapes, with rolling hills, fertile farmlands, and small rural villages dotting the route. The drive offers a fascinating glimpse into rural Uganda, showcasing the daily lives of the locals and the rich natural beauty of the country.
The transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park usually takes around 8-9 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way. However, this road trip is incredibly scenic, with panoramic views of the Virunga Volcanoes, including Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Sabinyo, which form part of the Virunga Massif shared by Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
