Half-Day Kigali City Tour and Road Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After your tour of the city, you will enjoy a scenic road transfer to Volcanoes National Park, situated in the northwest of Rwanda. The trek begins as you venture into the dense forest of Volcanoes National Park, known for its steep, mist-covered slopes. The rangers will guide you through the jungle as you search for one of the park’s habituated gorilla families. Depending on the location of the gorillas that day, the trek can range from a relatively short walk to a more strenuous hike, so be prepared for some physical exertion. The forest environment, with its thick undergrowth, moss-covered trees, and occasional streams, adds to the sense of adventure.
Once you encounter a group of gorillas, you will have the privilege of spending up to one hour observing them. Watch as the gorillas interact with each other, play, eat, and care for their young. The experience of being just a few meters away from these majestic creatures, particularly the dominant silverback, is truly unforgettable.
