Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by Giant Holiday Safaris experienced guide / driver and transferred to a hotel in either Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Entebbe area and do shoe bill watching in mabamba swamp, enjoy dinner at your hotel and settle in for an overnight stay, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking, the journey is approximately 5 - 6 hours you will reach to Kibale national park in the afternoon. The journey offers picturesque views of Uganda’s countryside and upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp near the park. After lunch, enjoy some leisure time to relax or take a guided nature walk in the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Have dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Kibale national park headquarters for a briefing from the park rangers about the chimpanzee tracking experience. You will start the Trek through Kibale dense forest in search of these intelligent and playful primates. You will spend one hour observing and taking photographs of the chimpanzees as they engage in their daily activities. After the tracking, we will return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation, then in the afternoon, you we will take awalk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or camp.

Day 4

After morning breakfast, you will start on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The journey is marked by stunning views of Uganda’s landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge near the park. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5

Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You will have an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking experience. An experienced trackers will lead you into the dense forest of bwindi to locate a mountain gorilla family. Once you have found one you will have an opportunity to spend one full hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, and also take as many photographs as you may wish. You will head back to the pack headquarters to collect your certificate as an award for completing gorilla trekking activity.
After tracking you will now drive to Lake Bunyonyi which is regarded as the deepest lake in Uganda for a canoe ride to explore the many Islands in the lake, then retire to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6
