After a brief introduction and orientation, you will start your journey towards Kibale Forest National Park, one of Uganda’s most renowned destinations for chimpanzee tracking. The drive to Kibale will take approximately 5-6 hours, offering you a scenic view of Uganda’s beautiful countryside, with rolling hills, lush landscapes, and vibrant rural villages along the way.
Kibale Forest is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, and the park’s diverse habitats—including tropical rainforests, swamps, and grasslands—create the perfect environment for these incredible primates. You will embark on a scenic road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the southwestern part of Uganda. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, but the picturesque landscapes, including lush hills, valleys, and terraced farmland, make the journey an enjoyable part of the adventure. Bwindi is one of the most famous destinations in Uganda, primarily known for being the habitat of the endangered mountain gorillas.
The road to Bwindi winds through beautiful rural villages, and you will get the chance to witness local life along the way. Upon arrival at your accommodation, you’ll be able to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding rainforest-covered hills. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering a rich diversity of flora and fauna, as well as cultural experiences.
