After your warm welcome, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, Uganda's capital city, where you will have time to rest and recover from your international journey. Murchison Falls National Park Game Drives

Today is dedicated to exploring Murchison Falls National Park through exciting game drives. Murchison Falls is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. Your early morning game drive offers the chance to see some of these majestic animals as they are most active during the cooler hours of the morning.
The park’s diverse habitats, which include savannah, woodlands, and riverine forests, support a wide variety of species. You’ll also encounter giraffes, various antelope species like oribi and Uganda kob, as well as numerous bird species such as the white-thighed hornbill and African fish eagle.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Murchison Falls themselves, taking a hike to the top of the falls to witness the mighty Nile River as it plunges into the gorge below. The view from the top is awe-inspiring, and the thundering roar of the falls adds to the dramatic atmosphere.

The transfer takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, and you’ll be treated to the scenic beauty of Uganda’s rural landscapes. As you travel south, the lush forests give way to picturesque rolling hills, creating an inviting backdrop for the journey.
Upon arrival in Kibale National Park, you will check into your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening. The park is famous for its tropical rainforest, home to a variety of primates, including the chimpanzees. The highlight of the day is chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. Kibale is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, and it offers an excellent opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing before beginning your trek into the forest.
The trek to find the chimpanzee groups can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on where the chimps were last spotted. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you’ll spend an hour observing them as they forage, socialize, and play. Kibale’s chimpanzees are habituated to human presence, making the experience even more exciting and intimate.
In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a Bigodi Swamp Walk, a peaceful nature walk through the swamp, where you can spot more wildlife, including colobus monkeys, various bird species, and beautiful plant life. The swamp is also home to many butterfly species, making it a photographer’s paradise.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You’ll then embark on a trek through the forest to locate a habituated gorilla group. The trek can take anywhere from one to six hours, depending on the location of the gorillas.
Once you encounter the gorillas, you will have an unforgettable hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Watching these gentle giants interact, feed, and play with their family members is a humbling experience. After the trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit the Batwa people, the indigenous forest dwellers of Bwindi. The Batwa Trail Experience allows you to learn about the Batwa’s traditional way of life, including their hunting and gathering practices.
