Day 1

Hopefully, your journey is scheduled for an early (not past noon) landing in Uganda. Your driver-guide will pick you up from Entebbe Airport and you will hit the road to Murchison Falls. The highlights of this park include; the roaring rapids of the Murchison, and the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park where you will have the chance to view lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles here. For birders, Murchison Falls boasts 450 bird species including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf king fisher, the white-thigh hornbill, and the Goliath heron among others.
En route, you'll make a detour visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will have at least one hour of rhino tracking while here. Another stop will be in Masindi to enjoy your lunch, after you will visit the top of the falls then continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the evening.

Day 2

You'll have your breakfast and then depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Here, you will have the opportunity to view lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. For any birder, this area supports the secretary bird and black-chested snake eagle to name a few. Return to your accommodation for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls where you will also be able to catch sight of more animals including hippos, crocodiles, and several water birds. You will again have evening game drive on your way to the lodge for an evening relaxation.

Day 3
Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You'll start the day with a morning game drive to spot any wildlife you might have missed the previous day. Afterward, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees.
Upon reaching kibale forest, you will check in the lodge and freshen up. Later in the afternoon you will go for a walk in the Bigodi Swamp, which is rich in biodiversity and scenic in beauty. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers, and many more swamp endemics. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the black and white Colobus, red Colobus, Red-tailed monkey, grey-cheeked Mangabey, olive baboon, L’hoest Monkey, vervet monkey, and blue monkey.

Day 4

In the morning, you will go on a chimpanzee-tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee groups. Once you find them, you will spend a memorable hour observing and learning about these fascinating primates. Afterward, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive.

Afterward, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas for gorilla trekking experience.

Day 6

On this day, you will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by the park rangers, you will set off into the forest in small groups to track and observe one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty depending on the gorilla group's location, but once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour in their presence, observing their behavior and capturing memories through photographs. This is a truly magical and humbling experience, as you witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Later in the evening you will have batwa culture experience. By joining the Batwa Cultural Experience, you are not just learning about their history you are also helping to support their community. This experience is perfect for travelers who love culture, history, and adventure.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure. The drive takes approximately 8-9 hours, with stop for lunch at Igongo cultural center in mbarara and another stop over at the Uganda Equator crossing line in kayabwe. Your guide will ensure that you reach the airport in time for your scheduled departure, marking the end of your 7-day Uganda safari.
