Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where your guide will waiting for you, holding our company branded sign with your names on it. He will then transfer you to your lodging of the night, give you a quick briefing on the next day and let you check-in after.

Dinner later and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale National Park | Bigodi Swamp Walk

Transfer to Kibale National Park | Bigodi Swamp Walk

Breakfast in the morning and your guide will pick you up. You will then head to Kibale National Park. This is a 5-6 hour journey and therefore packed lunches are not advised since Uganda is a very humid country. You will have a stopover in Fort portal town for a hot lunch before heading to the park and forest.

After lunch, you will drive straight to Bigodi for the wetland walk. Bigodi wetland sanctuary was opened by the community to maintain the swamp area so that it can attract a lot of tourists and in turn use the benefits of tourism to develop the surrounding communities. A walk in this wetland is about 2-3 hours and involves lots of primate viewing as well as a vast range of birds, with the most sought after bird being the ''Great Blue Turaco''.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Habituation Experience | Kibale National Park

Early Morning breakfast and you're off to the park head quatres for your pre-habituation briefing, at 6:00am.

The tourists have to go into the forest to see the chimps when they wake up and from there on, follow them in the forest and watch them throughout the day as they go about their lives. They are very mobile early in the day and you have to run to catch up with them as they go swinging through the forest canopies, as they search for food including hunting monkeys such as the Colobus that is a delicacy for them.

In the afternoon, they often come down from the canopies to escape the sun and relax on ground, and get to mate and groom each other They are thus less mobile in the afternoon and you get to watch them closely. At dusk, they will make nests and go to sleep, at which point you return from the experience and head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park | Afternoon Game Drive

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park | Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast in the morning, your guide will pick you up and you you start your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way there, you will great views of local farmlands, the vast grasslands, some farm animals on the road, tea plantations, as well as the explosion crater lakes. This will such a beautiful and calming journey.

Check into your lodge and have a hot lunch. You will then head to your rooms for some rest and relaxation and later head out at around 3:00pm, for a game viewing experience. While on this drive, you will see lots of euphorbia trees as well animals including buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes and so many more.

After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Game and Boat Safari | Queen Elizabeth National Park

Game and Boat Safari | Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast in the morning and head out for your second game drive on the safari. Your guide will hire a ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority who will be close contact with his colleagues that will already be tracking the animals in order to increase your chances of great game viewing. There is nothing like watching the sunrise while seeing animals that survive on prey like the lions and leopards return after a night of hunting, blood filled mouths and some pieces of their prey still in their mouths.

You will then return to the lodge for a hot lunch and prepare to go out for the afternoon boat safari. While on the boat cruise, you will get to see animals like Elephants, buffalos and if you're really lucky, some cats as they normally look for water sources in the afternoon, as well as shades to rest.

After the boat cruise, you can have another optional game drive before heading back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Breakfast in the morning and check-out. Your guide will pick you up and you will start your journey back to Kampala-Entebbe. You will have a stopover at the Equator for a hot lunch, some picture taking and buying souvenirs.

You will the head to Kampala and to the Entebbe area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Visit the Botanical Gardens | Outbound Flight

Visit the Botanical Gardens | Outbound Flight

Breakfast in the morning and some lounging at the lodge. You guide will pick you up later and take you to the Botanical Gardens for a visit.
The botanical gardens are a very rich environment providing great flora and fauna. Expect to see animals like the vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, and a huge range of birds including the orange weavers, yellow billed duck and so many more. The botanical gardens offer a more private and educational tour.

You will return to the lodge after, to freshen up and be transferred to the airport for check-in before your outbound flight back to your home country.
