Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Your guide will be waiting for you, holding a welcome sign with your names on it. He will then transfer you to your preferred lodging, make sure you’re all checked-in and briefed about the next day’s program.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up as you embark on your journey North to the renowned Kidepo Valley National Park. This marks the start of your safari.
This journey takes about 12 hours. Therefore, it’s advised to have some snacks as it is best to wait on hot meals as opposed to a packed lunch. You will have a stopover in Gulu for lunch and thereafter continue on your journey.
Arrival, check-in, refreshen up as you prepare for dinner and an overnight’s stay.

Game Drive and Community Visit | Kidepo Valley National Park
Early morning breakfast, and head to Narus Valley which is the prime game viewing area as wildlife congregates there for most of the year.
Kidepo valley National Park is the only park where you can spot cheetahs in Uganda. Occasionally, in the North of Murchison Falls National Park, but primarily in Kidepo. The park has a diversity of mammals with 86 species. Other animals in the park include bat-eared fox, striped hyena, and black-backed jackal (which are endemic to the park), as well as Elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and many more, including so many bird species.
Head back to the community for a visit.
The Karamojong community, culture and heritage is one of the richest cultures in the world. Their ways are similar to the Masai cultures in Kenya and Tanzania, especially because of their pastoral activities. You will witness their cultural dances, their way of feeding, dressing, hunting for food, etc.
Head back to the lodge for dinner and an night's stay.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive towards Murchison Falls National Park. This journey is about 7 hours and therefore snacks come in really handy, as the chance for a hot meal is later in the day.
Arrival and check-in at the lodge, and then a well-deserved hot lunch. Later after a bit of rest is your first game drive where you will be joined by a ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. This game can be very optional as you might still be tired from the morning’s journey.
Dinner later and an overnight’s stay at the lodge.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise | Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning coffee or breakfast and head out for a game drive.
Murchison Falls National Park is one of the most visited parks in Uganda, not only because it has the most powerful waterfalls, but also because it has a very wide range of wild animals, like lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, antelopes, a wide range of birds.
After a hot lunch, head out for the boat safari, which for some, this is the highlight of a Uganda safari. You are advised to carry some snacks as well as water as the cruise is normally 2 to 2½ hours and can be a bit hot/humid. There is a wide range of game viewing on boat cruise with animals ranging from elephants, hippos, crocodiles, birds, and more.
The coxswain will leave you at the bottom of the falls, from where you will hike to the top enjoying the beautiful sound of the water hitting the rocks and birds chirping in the sky. Your guide will be waiting for you at the top to drive you back to the lodge, with an optional final evening game drive.

Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will embark on another 7-hour journey, after a hot breakfast.
You’re again encouraged to carry some snacks as your next stop for a hot lunch will be in fort portal, which is after about 3 quarters of your drive. Please feel free to reach out to your guide in the event that you choose to have your lunch before then, he will advise you on how to go about it best.
Arrival, check-in, some afternoon coffee and rest in the afternoon, in preparation for dinner and an overnight’s stay.

Chimp Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk | Kibale National Park
After an early morning breakfast, the guide will drive to Kanyanchu Visitor’s Centre for your pre-trek breifing. Chimps are very interesting animals to hang around because almost 98-99% of their DNA is the same as that of humans. These chimps are habituated and are therefore used to human beings.
You are however advised to keep your distance as they sometimes get frustrated or easily triggered and might come close to hurt or harm you.
The activity takes approximately 2 hours, after which you will head back to the lodge for a hot lunch.
The Bigodi Wetland/Sanctuary walk is around 3:00pm. It is located 5 kms from Kibale National Park This hike is consistent of sight seeing, one of the best places for bird watching (specifically the Great Blue Turaco), and a huge variety of monkeys. There is a possibility of seeing chimps here as well.
Return to the lodge after that, rest, dinner and an overnight’s stay.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning breakfast and set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Another one of the most visited parks in Uganda. Kibale National Park is located North East of Queen Elizabeth National Park. And because of this, it is said that the two parks almost touch each other, in reference to how close they are to each other.
This journey takes about 2½ to 3 hours. The drive will drive you though the carter lakes with the most beautiful scenery, especially from the Katwe explosion lake.
The guide can also drive you to the twin lakes for some sight seeing before driving you to the lodge.
Check-in at the lodge, hot lunch and afternoon relaxation by the pool or a nap in the room.
Later go for dinner and night stay at the lodge.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise | Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early morning breakfast and set off for the park to do the game safari. A Uganda Wildlife Authority guide will join for much better chances of seeing the animals. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Savannah and is endowed all kinds of animals ranging from predators, primates as well as birds. Some of the birds you will see at the lodge as well.
On this drive, mostly depending on luck because these are wild animals, you will get to see predators either returning from a night of hunting or doing the hunting as you view them. It is one of the very thrilling activities on this safari.
Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and head out for the afternoon boat safari. You will still see animals like elephants, crocodiles, hippos, different bird species and lions can be great delight, when in luck. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight’s stay.

Transfer to Entebbe
Breakfast in the morning and head out for your drive back to Kampala. Depending on the number of stops made, this drive can take between 5-7 hours, with a stopover at the Equator for a hot meal and some souvenir shopping.
Continue your journey after the Equator to Entebbe town and to Cycad Guest House. Check-in, dinner and an overnight stay.

Shoebill Search and Flight Back Home
Breakfast in the morning and head out in the search of this rare species. Mabamba Swamp has the highest odds of viewing the Shoebill in Uganda, if not Africa. Shoebill trekking searches in Mabamba Swamp are done from a motorized wooden canoe/boat. There are plenty of boats available, and local riders are happy to take you to view the Shoebill.
When you get inside the boat, the first bird you should search for is the Shoebill. Fishermen that go out early in the morning to discover what they captured in their nets might occasionally provide information about where they observed the Shoebill.
You will be able to watch the shoebill stork as it stands still in the water for hours, as well as take various photographs of the species and the surrounding areas in the swamp to make the experience truly memorable.
Return to the lodge after to freshen up and get transferred to the airport for your outbound flight back to your home country.
