Arrival at Kigali International Airport where your guide will be waiting for you holding a welcome sign with your name on it. He will then take you around for a city tour to places like the Genocide Museum, BK Arena, and Kimironko Market.

He will then drive you to your lodging of choice for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Transition to Nyungwe National Park | Colobus Monkey Trekking

Transition to Nyungwe National Park | Colobus Monkey Trekking

After an early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you and you will head south to Nyungwe National Park. This is a 4 drive. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery that Rwanda has to offer on this journey, the countless hills, the beautiful weather, as well the great hospitality.

Arrival and check-in at the lodge, have a hot lunch and head out after for the Colobus Monkey trek.
The park is known to have very large troops that you will see during the trek. Like the chimp trekking experience, the colobus monkey trekking starts with a briefing from the park office in Uwinka.
After learning about the expectations while in the forest, you will be led into the forest with the ranger guide to start the experience. You are as well allowed one hour with the Colobus monkeys when you sight them after which you start the trek out of the forest.

Return to the lodge after for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Chimp Tracking | Huye Mountain Coffee Tour | Nyungwe National Park

After an early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you the park headquarters for the pre-trek briefing.

Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most sought-after activities in Rwanda, and is best done in the semi-wet season where food sources are plentiful and they therefore come nearer to the trails. You get to see chimps in their most authentic natural habitat.
You will spend an hour with them taking pictures, savoring the moment, and making memories of a lifetime.

Return to the lodge for lunch and later drive to Huye Mountain for the coffee tour, which was started by a veteran named David, a veteran of the Rwandan coffee industry. David and his team will take you the whole process of the art of coffee production.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Canopy Walk | Return to Kigali

Canopy Walk | Return to Kigali

Early morning breakfast and you're off for the canopy walk. The canopy walk tour starts at Uwinka which is also the park’s headquarters and the round trip takes from 1.5 to 2 hours long. After registering at the Visitor’s Center, visitors take on a forest trail that connects to the Igishigishigi trail.

The forest walk offers a beautiful nature experience and one gets to observe wildlife found at the ground level and enjoy beautiful views of forest covered rolling hills. This is such a remarkable experience to be able to see animals from 70 meters above.

After the canopy walk, embark on a drive back to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight back to your home country.
