Arusha, known as the safari capital of Tanzania, is a vibrant, tourism-driven city. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your driver-guide at either Arusha or Arusha Airport. Together, you’ll embark on your transfer to Tarangire National Park to begin your private safari game drive. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through it and serves as the primary water source for the region’s wildlife.

This tranquil park is renowned for its elephant migrations, abundant birdlife, and authentic safari ambiance. Enjoy a packed lunch during the day, and after an exciting afternoon game drive, you’ll head to Africa Safari Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to refresh before enjoying a delicious dinner under the stars, followed by a restful night in one of our comfortable canvas accommodations.

The crater, formed millions of years ago by an extinct volcano, spans 20 square kilometers and is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth.

Thanks to its natural boundaries, the wildlife in the crater is remarkable. Home to the Big Five, it also offers a rare opportunity to spot the elusive black rhino. With hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, and elephants roaming its vast floor, the crater provides an exceptional setting for an unforgettable safari experience. Today, you’ll embark on a rewarding drive from Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Your journey will take you through the Maasai homeland, where the Maasai people—the only tribe permitted to live within the Conservation Area—maintain their traditional nomadic lifestyle. Known for their vibrant, colorful robes, the Maasai can often be seen herding cattle, living in harmony with nature and drawing on generations of knowledge about plants and survival.

As you travel, you'll have the chance to spot wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and other animals along the way. Your route will lead you to the northern section of the Serengeti, a more remote area with fewer visitors, ensuring a more exclusive and tranquil safari experience. After a day of exploration, you’ll exit the park and settle in for the night at Africa Safari Maasai Boma, where you’ll stay in a modern interpretation of a traditional Maasai boma, blending authentic style with comfort.
