Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Volcanoes National Park

Early Morning:
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park: Depart Kigali at 4:30 AM for the 2.5-hour drive to Musanze
District, the gateway to the park.
Gorilla Trek Briefing: Upon arrival, meet park rangers for a safety briefing and allocation of
trekking groups.
Morning Activity:

Gorilla Trekking: Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trek to see mountain gorillas in their natural
habitat. The trek lasts 2-6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Spend one
magical hour with these majestic creatures.
Lunch:
A packed lunch will be provided. Enjoy it at the park’s base or a designated scenic spot.
Afternoon:
Optional Community Visit: Visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to learn about local traditions,
music, and dances.
Return to Kigali: Begin the journey back to Kigali (approximately 2.5 hours).
