Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Breakfast: Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge.
Gorilla Trek Briefing: Arrive at the park headquarters by 7:00 AM for a briefing by park
rangers. Learn about trekking protocols and be assigned to a gorilla family.
Morning Activity:
Gorilla Trekking Adventure: Embark on a trek through the dense rainforest to find the mountain
gorillas. The trek may last 2-6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once you
find them, spend a magical hour observing their behavior in the wild.
Lunch:
Enjoy a packed lunch provided by your lodge or the trekking team.
Afternoon:
Return to Kigali: After freshening up at your lodge, drive back to Kigali (approximately 2.5
hours).
Optional Stop: Visit a local market or the Kigali Genocide Memorial if time allows.
