Arrival in Arusha

Today, our safari manager will greet you upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, giving you a warm welcome to Tanzania. You will be personally escorted in a well-maintained private vehicle to your lodge, where you can check in and unwind for the remainder of the day. A pre-safari briefing will be provided either during the drive or upon your arrival at the lodge.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari driver will pick you up from the hotel around 8:00 AM and transfer you to Tarangire National Park, located about two hours from Arusha. Upon arrival, your guide will assist with registration formalities before taking you on your first thrilling game drive. Known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers an exceptional safari experience. The park’s lifeline, the Tarangire River, attracts animals throughout the year, creating exciting predator-prey interactions as wildlife gathers to drink. You can expect to see elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, and gazelles, along with rarer species like the long-necked gerenuk and oryx, if luck is on your side. Spend the day exploring the park’s vibrant landscapes and observing its incredible wildlife before heading to your lodge later in the afternoon for check-in and relaxation.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge or camp before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. The journey takes you across the Great Rift Valley, ascending its dramatic escarpments with breathtaking views below. Upon reaching the Loduare Gate, we’ll pause briefly for registration before continuing to the crater rim for stunning panoramic views and a short photo session. Next, we’ll descend into the Crater for an unforgettable day of game drives on the crater floor. As the world’s largest unbroken caldera, its 600-meter-high walls create a natural enclosure, making it home to an extraordinary density of wildlife. Here, you’ll have the chance to observe a wide variety of animals up close, including the iconic Big Five—elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos—with a bit of luck. In the late afternoon, we’ll ascend the crater rim to reach your accommodation for check-in and an overnight stay.
