Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport, holding a branded company sign with your names on it. He will then transfer you to your lodging for the night. He will give you a guideline and briefing of how the trip/safari will fair through and leave you for the night.

Day 2
Transition to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Your guide will pick you up after an early morning and you will head south to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This is a 9 hour drive and will be your longest journey of this trip. It is advised to avoid packed lunches as Uganda is a very humid country and that may lead to your food going bad. You can however carry some snacks for the trip. You will have a stopover for a hot meal in Mbarara town, and proceed on your journey thereafter.
Get to the lodge in the evening, check-in, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Gorilla Trekking

Your guide will pick you up after an early morning breakfast and transfer you the park headquarters for the pre trek briefing. You are advised to carry a packed lunch and energy snacks as well as 4 liters of water because this trek can anywhere between 3-8 hours.
Porters and walking sticks can be hired or bought at the lodge where you'll be staying. Please inform your guide of anything that you might need as he will be at your full help and disposal.
It is advised to wear mostly light clothing for the trek, a light long sleeved shirt, long trousers, sturdy safari boots and a hat. You should carry a rain jacket as well because it is a rainforest park and you never know what to expect.
You will spend an hour with gorillas taking pictures and making unforgettable memories that will stick with you even after you've returned home.
You will then drive to your lodging in Kisoro town for the night.

Day 4
Golden Monkey Trek and Batwa Community Experience
Golden Monkey Trek and Batwa Community Experience
Your guide will again pick you up after an early morning breakfast and transfer you to the park headquarters for your pre-trek briefing. You will then start your trek in such of the habituated golden monkey families. You will find them jumping from tree to tree making such beautiful sounds. You will as well spend an hour with the monkeys taking pictures and watching how they go about their day to day.
You will after the trek head to community for the Batwa Experience. The Batwa called Mgahinga park their home before they were kicked out and it was gazetted into national park. This experience was started to teach and inform the world of their culture but also remind the young Batwa generation how important culture is. This experience normally starts with a prayer, and is followed by a hike to their homes, a cultural performance and teachings of culture and way of living. It will such an educational experience.
Return to the lodge later for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Transition to Lake Mburo National Park | Boat Cruise

Breakfast in the morning and check out. You will he drive 5 to 5 and half hours to Lake Mburo National Park. Please carry some snacks on this day as well as you will have a hot lunch after check-in at the lodge, or in Mbarara town.
You will then head to the lodge for an afternoon check-in, lunch and some rest after.
The guide will pick you up at around 1:50pm for your 2:00pm boat safari. The boat normally take around tow hours and you can see different animals while on this cruise including the worth hogs, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, and many more. Most of these normally go the Lake Mburo to hydrate and rest in the afternoon.
You can choose to have game drive after the boat cruise but this is very optional.

Day 6
Walking Safari and Transition to Entebbe
Walking Safari and Transition to Entebbe
Breakfast in the morning and you're out for the walking safari. On this safari you will get to come very close to the animals and will feel like you're a part of them. You will see animals like giraffes, zebras, a big range of antelopes.
You will return to the lodge to freshen up and get ready for your journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator for a hot lunch, pictures and some souvenirs.
You will then continue your drive to Kampala, and to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight back to your home country. You can have a day room in the Entebbe area to freshen up, but this completely depends on whether or not you're need one.
This is the End of your 6 Day Safari.
