Arrival

Pick-up by your guide for trip from the airport and be transferred to your accommodation of choice for the night and check-in.

Your guide will walk you through the trip itinerary and depart from you. You will later have dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Kibale National Park | Bigodi Wetland Walk

Breakfast and you're off to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of the world. This is a 5-6 hour journey and you will have a stopover mid-journey to grab some snacks. Packed lunch is not encouraged because Uganda is a very humid country.
You will head to lodge for a hot lunch and check-in afterwards.

After your check-in and some short rest, you will head to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for the walk/hike. The Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary together with Kafred were started by the community in order to educate visitors about tourism in the Bigodi area and in turn use the funds from tourism to give back to the community.
On this walk, you will get to see so many animals like the mongooses, monkeys, baboons and so many birds including the most sought after, The Great Blue Turaco.
This walk will be a very interesting one.

Return to the lodge later for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trekking Experience

Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most requested activities in Uganda. It is one activity that is sought after on a daily basis. It usually takes place between 8:30 am to 11:00 am. You wake up very early morning and get ready. You then head out for breakfast and wait to be picked by your guide and transferred to Kanyanchu head quarters for the pre-trek briefing. After the briefing, you get back to the cars and drive to the trek starting point.
On the trek, you get to see chimps jumping from tree to tree, grooming their young ones, and wake up for their nests to start the day.

Once you find a family, you spend an hour with them, taking pictures, learning about their ways and generally, making lifelong memories.

After there, you return to the lodge for some lunch and much needed rest and relaxation later.

Dinner later and an overnight stay.

Travel back to Entebbe

Breakfast in the morning and you embark on a journey back to Entebbe for an outbound flight back to your home country.

You will have stops on the way for a hot lunch and some snacks for the rest of the trip. The guide will then drive you to a lodge in Entebbe town where we would've booked a day room for you freshen up and then transfer to the airport to check-in for your flight.

End of your 4 day safari.
