Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti on thrilling game drives. The Serengeti is a breathtaking destination renowned for its expansive grasslands, which provide unparalleled opportunities to observe wildlife. As Tanzania’s oldest national park and one of the planet’s most ancient ecosystems, its climate and vegetation have remained largely unchanged for millions of years.

While the Serengeti teems with diverse wildlife, it is most celebrated for the annual Great Migration. Massive herds of wildebeests, accompanied by zebras and antelopes, traverse the plains in search of fresh pastures. The timing and route of this migration are dictated by the year’s rainfall patterns.

After an exhilarating day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to Serenity Tented Camps to enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind beneath the sparkling night sky.

This natural wonder was formed two to three million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed inward.

Descending into the crater is an adventure of its own. Once on the crater floor, you’ll encounter an abundance of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species.
