Day 1

Your safari adventure begins at your hotel in Zanzibar, where you'll be picked up and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for a scenic 1.5-hour flight. As you soar over the Indian Ocean, the Tanzanian hinterland, the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, and the vast Serengeti plains, you'll enjoy breathtaking aerial views.

Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip, you’ll quickly transition into a 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, ready to explore the wonders of the Serengeti. Around noon, enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, taking a moment to stretch and soak in the surroundings.

As the day winds down, return to Safari Haven Serengeti Camp for a delightful dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, preparing you for more adventures ahead.

After a hearty breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Around midday, enjoy a delicious lunch at the crater's base, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of this World Wonder.

The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an incredible variety of wildlife. You’ll likely spot majestic elephant bulls and the endangered black rhino, as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles. You may also encounter hippos, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, jackals, and nearly 400 species of birds.

After a thrilling afternoon game drive, head back to Arusha for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay at the cozy Arusha Farm House, reflecting on the day’s unforgettable adventures.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, set off for the charming Materuni Village. Upon arrival, complete your registration at the village office to begin your adventure. Your journey starts with a 40-minute scenic walk to the majestic Materuni Waterfalls. Don’t forget your swimwear— the pool at the waterfall's base is perfect for a refreshing dip.

After soaking in the stunning surroundings, take a leisurely stroll back to the village with your guide. Upon your return, savor a traditional Chagga lunch paired with a taste of the local banana beer.

Next, dive into the coffee experience, where you'll learn how coffee is grown, dried, roasted, and processed. Participate in grinding the beans yourself while enjoying lively Chagga songs and dances—a unique way to connect with the local culture.

As your day winds down, head to Kilimanjaro International Airport in the evening for your flight back to Zanzibar.
