Upon your arrival, we will, of course, pick you up from the airport and take you to the first lodge, which will be your home for the next three days. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city or relax by the pool. The African feeling will soon embrace you.

Before dinner, our certified yoga instructor, Tizia, offers an optional yoga session with gentle stretching exercises to help you recover from the journey.

After dinner, you will meet your photography coach and the other participants during a small **"Meet & Greet."** He will introduce your group to the photography course program and share some useful tips in advance.

You will spend the night at the legendary **Ilboru Safari Lodge**, nestled on the lower slopes of Mount Meru. This welcoming retreat is a favorite among safari travelers and mountain climbers alike.

Day 2

If you want to start your day with energy at 7 AM, you can join an optional yoga session with Tizia.

At 10 AM, we will meet at your lodge, and nothing stands in the way of the beginning of your photographic journey.

In several small sessions, you will become familiar with the concepts of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO while immediately gaining hands-on experience with your camera. The intensive learning experience will be enriched with practical tips, specifically tailored to the unique aspects of wildlife and landscape photography.

At 6 PM, you will be picked up for a truly special experience. Together, we will enjoy a traditional dinner with a local family—an unforgettable experience that will stay with you for a long time.

You will spend another night at **Ilboru Lodge**, nestled among trees on a beautiful Swahili sanctuary.

Now, there’s only one thing left to say: **“Lala Salama”**—which means **"Sleep well"** in Swahili.

Today's theme is "Learning by Shooting."

We will start the day early with a breathtaking excursion into Tanzania's stunning natural landscapes. If the air is clear, you may catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro along the way.
With your newly acquired skills, you'll be inspired to capture unique moments with your camera. As the golden hour bathes the scenery in soft light, we’ll have the chance to photograph monkeys, vibrantly feathered birds, and butterflies in a truly magical atmosphere. Your photography coach will be by your side, offering guidance and helpful tips.
After returning to the lodge, we will have a photo review session to reflect on and discuss the day’s captures.
In the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to join an optional yoga and meditation session, allowing you to unwind before the big safari adventure begins the next morning.
Your final night at Ilboru Lodge will bring deep and restful sleep, as dreams of the adventures ahead begin to take shape. Lala Salama!

Day 4

Tarangire Nationalpark

In the morning, we set off and, after two hours, reach **Tarangire National Park**. On this **game drive**, we explore the habitat of giraffes, antelopes, wildebeests, and more. Tarangire is renowned for its **large elephant herds**, making for an unforgettable safari experience.

Where prey is abundant, predators follow. With luck, we may spot **lions** and capture their beauty. With your **photography coach** by your side, you'll take stunning shots.

At **Suricata Boma Lodge**, we are welcomed by **centuries-old baobabs**, their ancient trunks holding countless stories. The **Lake Manyara** view from here is breathtaking.

As the day ends, we enjoy a **sundowner**, soaking in golden hours. If lucky, we’ll witness **Tanzania’s magnificent sunset**, a moment to cherish through the lens—and in our hearts. 🌅✨.

Early in the morning, we embark on a **three-hour journey** to **Lake Natron**, a mesmerizing destination that will captivate you with its vibrant colors. A **hidden gem** in the heart of Tanzania and a **paradise for photographers**, this lake is known for its breathtaking landscapes and **thriving flamingo population**.

The sight of the **pink-hued lake**, framed by volcanic mountains, combined with the **sweltering African heat** and **dusty terrain**, creates an unforgettable idyll. Your heart will race, and hopefully, your memory card will have enough space!

At midday, we set off to explore a **majestic waterfall**, where you can swim and marvel at the sheer beauty of nature—always with your eyes sharp and camera in hand.

Together, we will enjoy **dinner at the lodge**, nestled at the **foot of the volcano**. Under the **protection of the Maasai**, you will spend a truly **magical night** beneath the African sky.

Here, we observe the **wild beauty of the animals** while finding the perfect angles for our photos. The **soft, diffused light** enhances the colors while creating gentle contrasts—ideal conditions for capturing stunning images in this unique atmosphere.

After an inspiring morning filled with breathtaking impressions, we continue our journey **after lunch** to **Karatu**, where we will unwind at the **Farm of Dreams Lodge**. True to its name, this place offers not only a **dreamlike night** but also a lush **garden filled with vibrant flowers**. The **Jacaranda trees** are alive with the cheerful chatter of birds—perhaps this is what **paradise looks like**.

As night falls, we gather together, listening to the sounds of **nocturnal wildlife**, letting ourselves be enchanted by the magic of the **African wilderness**.

Our **final safari day** brings yet another highlight of your photography journey—the **Ngorongoro Crater**, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. The drive through the **surrounding conservation area** evokes the **ultimate Tanzania feeling**, leading us into one of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth.

Inside the crater, an **unforgettable panorama** unfolds. The crater floor hosts **Africa’s highest concentration of wildlife**. With a bit of luck, we may capture the **rare black rhino**, while lions, flamingos, hippos, and hyenas are almost guaranteed to make an appearance. This evening, we stay at the **edge of the crater**, surrounded by **idyllic nature**. At over **2,000 meters** in altitude, temperatures can drop, but the **warmth of the campfire** invites us to gather for engaging conversations while enjoying a drink in this truly **magical atmosphere**.

Dressed in **vibrant, traditional attire** and with warm hospitality, they invite you to step inside their huts, share their customs, and experience their **rich cultural heritage**. Often, they perform one of their **ceremonial dances** and offer handmade jewelry or souvenirs for purchase—the proceeds directly support the **Maasai community**.

After this **special encounter**, we continue our journey back to **Arusha**.

At our **final dinner together**, we will reflect on the **incredible moments** of the past days, letting the **spirit of the African wilderness** and its **Big Five** sink in. You’ll return home with **countless breathtaking photos** and a heart full of **unforgettable memories and emotions**.
