Serengeti National Park to Karatu

After an early breakfast, set out to further explore the expansive Serengeti, renowned for its endless plains and incredible wildlife. This iconic park is home to the largest land mammal migration on Earth, making it a premier destination for African safaris.
The Serengeti is perhaps most celebrated for the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest and approximately 200,000 zebras embark on an epic journey. They move southward to the southern plains during the short rains of October and November, then loop westward and northward after the long rains in April, May, and June. This ancient migration instinct is so powerful that neither drought, ravines, nor crocodile-filled rivers can deter them.
Following an exhilarating morning of game viewing, enjoy lunch before driving to Karatu. Upon arrival, relax at your accommodation, where dinner and an overnight stay will await you.
