Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will begin your adventure with a city tour of Entebbe. You will also have time to browse local craft markets for souvenirs. For lunch, you will enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant, such as Karibu Entebbe or 2Friends Beach Hotel, both known for their warm ambiance and excellent cuisine. In the evening, you’ll proceed to the Ndere Cultural Center in Kampala, where you will witness a lively cultural performance showcasing Uganda’s rich traditions, accompanied by a sumptuous dinner. You’ll either stay overnight in Entebbe or Kampala, depending on your preference.
Fly to Kihihi
The second day begins with a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kihihi, a charming town that serves as the entry point to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge near the national park. Options like Mahogany Springs Lodge or Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp offer stunning views and luxurious amenities to prepare you for the adventure ahead. Gorilla Tracking & Batwa Cultural Experience
Day three promises to be the highlight of your trip, as you embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, you’ll join a guided trek through the dense forest to observe the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This once-in-a-lifetime experience can take anywhere from three to seven hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. After returning to the lodge for lunch and some rest, your afternoon will be dedicated to the Batwa cultural experience. This activity allows you to connect with the Batwa people, one of the oldest indigenous groups in Uganda, as they share their traditions, history, and ways of life. You’ll spend the evening back at the lodge, reflecting on the day’s extraordinary experiences.
