Johannesburg to Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

Start your fantastic adventure today with a shared shuttle departure at 06h45 to travel from Johannesburg to Hazyview. After arriving around 12h30, you will be transferred to your private lodge inside Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Lunch is ready upon arrival, after which you can check into your room to freshen up.

The itinerary for the next 2 days is merely suggested to take advantage of the more comfortable temperature ranges and the enhanced game-viewing opportunities. It is also important to take time to relax and enjoy the camp surroundings and to immerse oneself in the environment.

An afternoon/evening game drive awaits you after having a bit of a relaxing time at the lodge. After an exhilarating afternoon open safari vehicle game drive and a beautiful sundowner drink in the bush, you slowly make your way back to the lodge, where you have time to freshen up before enjoying a well-deserved catered 3-course meal.

Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

After your wake-up call by your ranger, we meet on the safari deck as the sun rises over the bushveld for a quick hot or cold beverage and a light snack, after which we head out on our early morning game drive.

We slowly return to camp, where a hearty brunch awaits you. You can also join an included bush walk after brunch if you feel like it.

In the afternoon, we meet again on the expansive safari deck for hot and cold beverages and a light snack before departing on another unforgettable safari. A cooler box with sundowners is carried on the Land Rover, and a consensus among your fellow safari-ites will determine whether a G&T is worth more than a leopard sighting! As darkness approaches, your ranger will scan the bush with a powerful spotlight and will point out elusive nocturnal wildlife.

We slowly return to camp, allowing time for you to freshen up before meeting your friends and rangers for pre-dinner drinks in the cosy Safari Bar, after which dinner will be served.

Sabi Sands back to Johannesburg

Our last morning at Sabi Sands Private Big 5 Game Reserve will be filled with a sense of awe and bittersweet farewell. As the early morning sun painted the sky in soft hues of orange and pink, we set out on our final game drive. Today, we venture to areas we haven't yet explored in the hopes of seeing something special.

Our safari slowly comes to an end with a beautiful bushveld coffee stop topped up with a shot of our infamous Amarula Liqueur after slowly making our way back to the lodge for a substantial breakfast.

On our last morning, we head out for the last time on our early morning safari, hoping to catch a glimpse of something special.

After breakfast, we depart the Kruger National Park area and slowly make our way back to civilisation. We aim to be back in Hazyview around 12h15 as your shuttle from Hazyview departs at 12h30. We aim to be back in Johannesburg around 17h00.
