You will spend this entire day doing game drives through the amazing Masai Mara National Reserve, which is popular for its high concentration of wildlife and over 400 bird species, thus making it Kenya’s number 1 wildlife destination. The park also has amazing scenery, composed of dotted acacia plains and beautiful landscapes, which are home to lions found in abundance, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, giraffes, genet cats, roam antelopes, leopards, cheetahs, and black-manned lions. A drive to the famous Mara River will give you the chance to see the huge crocodiles basking in the sun.
If you book your safari during June/July, you will have an opportunity to witness the wildebeest migration, where zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest attempt to cross the crocodile-infested Mara River, with some not making it across as they are feasted upon by the crocs.
