3-Day Queen Elizabeth NP plus Chimp Tracking

Pickup from Entebbe/Kampala and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your early breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be picked up by our company representative who will be your driver-guide and will brief you about your trip. Afterward, you'll travel westwards through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take 6-7 hours with some stopovers at the Equator for an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and lunch en route. You will continue through the savannah grasslands with lots of banana plantations and several herds of local long-horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country. You will get to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening upon arrival check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will set off for a morning game drive, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. Expect to see elephants, buffalos, lions, bush bucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas, leopards, antelopes, and waterbucks as well as birds. You will later enjoy your lunch and relax. In the afternoon, you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals including hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks, especially the famous shoebill, pelican, and Jacana. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimp Tracking and Transfer back to Entebbe

After your early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and head to Kalinzu Forest for chimp tracking. Chimp tracking takes 3-4 hours. Afterward, you'll proceed for your transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en-route arriving in Entebbe late evening and being dropped off at your hotel or airport for your departure flight depending on your schedule.
