Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
You will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, with brief stops at the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. The Great Rift Valley extends from the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon, Asia, to Mozambique in Southeast Africa, with a significant portion cutting through Kenya. Lake Nakuru, one of the Rift Valley soda lakes, sits at an elevation of 1,754 meters (5,755 feet) above sea level. The park is an excellent destination for bird watching and wildlife viewing and serves as a sanctuary for black and white rhinos. The lake’s blue-green algae attracts large numbers of flamingos.
You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
