Dar es salaam To Serengeti National Park

During a 1.5-hour flight departing from Dar es Salaam Airport, you will soar over the sparkling Indian Ocean, the Tanzanian hinterlands, the majestic Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, and the endless plains of the Serengeti before landing at Seronera Airstrip. The aerial views are truly spectacular. Within 30 minutes of disembarking, you’ll be seated in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti. Around midday, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch and a chance to stretch your legs before continuing your adventure. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma, where you’ll stay the night.

Today, you will embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, immersing yourself in the heart of one of nature's most awe-inspiring events: the annual migration. Depending on the season and rainfall during your visit, you may have the chance to witness this extraordinary spectacle. The park’s vast plains, nourished by several rivers, are teeming with wildlife. Throughout the day, you’re likely to encounter an abundance of animals, including giraffes, hippos, elands, and elephants, making for an unforgettable safari experience.

Walking Safari Followed by Sundowner & Night Game Drive

Enjoy a relaxed morning at the camp, reading on the patio or savoring some downtime. In the afternoon, embark on a 2-hour walking safari with an armed ranger, exploring the Serengeti on foot and ending with a stunning sundowner. After a quick dinner, gear up for an exciting night game drive. With a spotlight illuminating the dark, you'll encounter nocturnal animals like bush babies, civets, genet cats, and possibly even an aardvark or porcupine. The Serengeti at night is a world of mystery, shadows, and unique wildlife activity.

Transfer to Seronera Airstrip – Domestic flight back to Dar

After breakfast at the camp, enjoy a final game drive as you make your way to Seronera Airstrip. Once there, you’ll board a scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, a driver will take you to your hotel, where you can relax before concluding your African safari adventure. This marks the end of our services.
