Transfer from kigali to Bwindi

The guide will welcome you and pick you up from Kigali, give you a general briefing about the entire trip and start off the journey to Uganda.

You shall cross border at Katuna and enter Uganda.
Later on, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park and check in at the lodge.

Then Dinner, briefing on gorilla tracking which will be the activity for the following day and overnight stay.

Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Morning:
• Gorilla Trekking: After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking protocols. Then, embark on an exhilarating trek through the dense forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from a few hours to most of the day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find them, you will spend up to an hour observing these majestic creatures.
• Afternoon:
• Lunch and Rest: After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and rest.
• Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: Later in the afternoon, transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, known for its stunning views and numerous islands.
Evening:
• Relaxation: Unwind by the lakeside, enjoy the serene environment, or opt for a short canoe ride on the lake.
• Accommodation: Heritage lodges Habuharo
• Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
