3-Day Mt Kilimanjaro Hike Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater

Mt Kilimanjaro Hiking

After breakfast at your hotel in Moshi or Arusha, you will meet your guide and drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (about 1 hour). After registering, you will commence the climb. You'll walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings, including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. Look for towering eucalyptus trees, bird life, and colobus monkeys in the rainforest.

After lunch, you'll hike back to the park gate and drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay and relaxation.

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

At 7:00 am, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha city to begin the beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. You will travel in a private 4x4 safari vehicle. The drive may take up to 2 hours.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds. It features a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. You may experience seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.

Once the game drive is complete, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Game drive status for all day: Full game drive from morning to evening.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After breakfast at 7:00 am, you'll enjoy the morning drive to Ngorongoro. Your accommodation is located a few minutes from the Ngorongoro gate. (Just 5 minutes to the Loduare Ngorongoro Gate)

This park is among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and features the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, making it one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many varieties of birds, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to see many animals in a short period.

You will stop in the afternoon at a picnic site for hot lunch and hot coffee.

After the game drive, you will drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. We are flexible today, depending on your departure time and next destination.
