Tarangire National Park

Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting out for Tarangire National Park, with a packed lunch in hand for the journey. This picturesque park boasts one of the world’s highest concentrations of elephants and a remarkable variety of bird species in vibrant breeding plumage. Tarangire is teeming with wildlife, especially during the dry season. You may encounter majestic lions, elusive leopards, and swift cheetahs, along with rare species such as the Kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. Large herds of gazelles, zebras, and wildebeests gather near the Tarangire River, where predators lie in wait. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park then Arusha

After breakfast, your safari guide will meet you at your lodge to begin your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its compact size, this park offers remarkable diversity and is named after the shallow salt lake that spans much of its area. The lake, which fluctuates with the seasons, attracts thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts.

As you explore the park, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and, if fortunate, tree-climbing lions lounging on the branches. Lake Manyara is celebrated for its rich and varied landscapes, ranging from open grassy plains to dense woodlands filled with primates and dramatic cliffs adorned with baobab trees.
