To Kidepo Valley National Park
Today involves a long yet picturesque journey with landscapes that shift and captivate along the way. You'll travel from Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park, a drive that takes approximately 9 to 10 hours. While the distance is significant, the stunning scenery makes it worthwhile. Along the route, you'll have opportunities to pause, stretch, and take short breaks. Lunch will be enjoyed en route, either in Gulu or Kitgum. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at Kidepo Savanna Lodge and settle in for your stay.

Full Day Safari in Kidepo Valley National Park
Your day begins with an early breakfast. After that, you'll go out for a game drive to explore Kidepo Valley National Park, accompanied by ranger. The ranger will share insights about the park's unique plants and animals.
You can choose to do a full-day game drive and take a packed lunch with you, or split the day into two drives — one in the morning and another in the afternoon. If you choose the second option, you'll have time to rest and enjoy a hot meal in between. The decision is entirely up to you!

To Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you'll leave Kidepo and head to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive takes about 5 to 6 hours, but there will be several stops along the way to stretch, take breaks, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Once you arrive, you'll check in at Fort Murchison Lodge.

Game Drive and Boat Safari
Your day starts early with a 6 a.m and by 7 a.m., you’ll be out exploring the park on a game drive. After an exciting morning spotting wildlife, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch.
At 2 p.m., you’ll go for a boat trip on the Nile, taking you to the base of Murchison Falls. The ride lasts about 3 hours and offers incredible wildlife sightings—hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, and maybe even elephants.
If you're up for a challenge and feeling fit, you can hop off the boat at the base of the falls and hike to the top this is an extra activity you can do at your own cost. It’s a steep and slippery climb, but the views are well worth it. After the boat trip or hike, you’ll wrap up the day with dinner back at the lodge.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Your final destination for today is Kibale Forest National Park. The day will be filled with a beautiful drive! You will drive past villages, rainforests, tea plantations and crater lakes towards Fort Portal. In clear weather you can see the Rwenzori Mountains with their snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival in Kibale Forest you will find yourself in a completely different world; a monkey world!
Kibale Forest is one of Africa's most primate-rich rainforests, hosting 13 different primate species. These include the red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus, red colobus, diademed monkey, mangabey, and galago. Situated at an average altitude of 1,300 meters, this protected reserve is bordered by tea plantations to the north and papyrus swamps to the south. Alongside its diverse primates, the forest and nearby Bigodi swamp are also home to many unique bird species.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Community Tour
Today is all about the various monkey species that live in this beautiful rainforest and nearby swamp. In the morning you will go on a chimpanzee trekking and in the afternoon you will take a walk through the swamps/wetlands of Bigodi. In between the activities you will enjoy lunch and a moment of rest at your beautiful accommodation
Get ready for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking. Guided by a ranger, you’ll track these lively primates by following clues like broken branches, poop, food leftovers, and their distinct calls. Every trek is unique, and how you encounter the chimpanzees is always a surprise. Coming face-to-face with these incredible apes, so closely related to us, is an experience that’s truly cool.
Bigodi Swamp, where you will not only see several species of monkeys, but also look for the special giant turaco; one of Uganda's most beautiful birds. You will take the walk in the afternoon. It will be cooler then and you will see most of the monkey species foraging.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After spending time in the first rainforest of your trip, you'll set off today toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through vibrant rural landscapes, transitioning from lush green hills dotted with tea plantations and crater lakes to the dry savannah of the park. Along the way, you’ll pass by several busy markets.
In the afternoon, you’ll go on your game drive safari through Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Queen Elizabeth National Park, spanning nearly 2,000 square kilometers, is nestled within the Rift Valley, bordered by the Rwenzori Mountains to the north and Lake Edward to the west. At the heart of this stunning reserve lies the Kazinga Channel, linking Lakes Edward and George, and offering exceptional opportunities for boat safaris.
To the west of the Kazinga Channel, you’ll find a landscape adorned with striking volcanic craters. Another highlight is the Kyambura Gorge—a dramatic rift in the savannah that harbors a lush rainforest, home to chimpanzees.

Game drive and Kazinga Boat Tour
After an early breakfast you will drive towards the rising sun during the safari. In the morning there is still mist above the savannahs and you will hear the typical sounds of the African wilderness. An ideal start for a day in nature!
Queen Elizabeth National Park is nestled between Lake Edward and Lake George, two beautiful lakes connected by the natural Kazinga Channel, full of wildlife.
Your Afternoon boat trip along this channel will be one of the highlights. Rare to see so many hippos in one place! Along with the hippos, you'll also spot massive crocodiles, buffaloes cooling off, and a wide range of bird species. And when you witness a group of elephants playfully spraying water on each other, you’ll know you’ve had an unforgettable day!

Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park offers another exciting and scenic drive, taking you through some of the oldest forests on the African continent. The drive to Lake Mburo takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Once you check in at Eagle Nest, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, relax with a drink by the campfire. Although Lake Mburo is Uganda's smallest national park, it’s full of charm and wildlife, including a large population of zebras and a family of Rothschild's giraffes.
