At 5:30am (the pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for your 8:00am flight to Arusha. Upon your arrival at 9:15am, your driver-guide will meet you and start the 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, they will share fascinating insights about the history, culture and traditions of Arusha and the Maasai people.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its rich biodiversity, including large herds of elephants and diverse landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to savannas. The Tarangire River winds through the park, and visitors may see lions stalking their prey or leopards resting in the treetops.
After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Flight to Zanzibar
After enjoying breakfast at 6:00am, you will embark on an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This early start provides stunning views of the crater and the chance to observe the most active wildlife.
Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated as the world's largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa's natural wonders. The crater is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as various bird species such as flamingos, eagles and buzzards. You can expect to see a diverse range of animals relatively quickly.
The game drive will conclude in the afternoon. After that, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your 4:30pm flight back to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival, a driver will take you to your hotel in Zanzibar.
