Kibale Forest is one of Africa's most primate-rich rainforests, hosting 13 different primate species. These include the red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus, red colobus, diademed monkey, mangabey, and galago. Situated at an average altitude of 1,300 meters, this protected reserve is bordered by tea plantations to the north and papyrus swamps to the south.
The afternoon Bigodi Community Tour offers a unique cultural experience to connect with the local way of life through activities like traditional cooking, basket weaving, and banana beer brewing and traditional dances.
