Morning pick up from your your hotel or Airport and short brief for the safari before heading to Lake Manyara with your packed lunch boxes. You will enjoy the excellent view over Lake Manyara, see elephants up close in the woodlands and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool.
Manyara Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion. At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Have breakfast and depart early in the morning with your lunch on a spectacular afternoon viewing game in Serengeti National Park. You will spend 2 nights exploring the Serengeti plains.
Serengeti is located in Northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 sq. km with over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area has massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the Northern Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope.

After breakfast, proceed with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. With the help of a guide, you will explore the Serengeti plains in search of Africa’s Big Five animals. At around 12h30, you will have lunch and proceed with the afternoon game drive in the park.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha flying to Zanzibar
After breakfast, carrying a picnic lunch, we depart for an en-route game drive down ward to Ngorongoro Crater. Once we arrive at the crater, we descend 610 meters to the crater floor. You will have a half-day game drive in the crater and, if you are lucky, see the endangered black rhinoceros.
The crater is home to a host of animals, as there is a permanent water source in the crater. Although animals are free to move in and out of the crater, many prefer to stay due to the lush grass and ample water. After the game drive, return to Arusha airport of Kilimanjaro airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
