After breakfast, you'll head to Serengeti National Park. Depending on the time of year, you may be lucky enough to witness the migration of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson gazelles. During the short rainy season in October and November, these animals typically travel from Kenya's Masai Mara through the northwest Serengeti to the southern plains. After the heavy rains in April, May, and June, they gradually return through the west and northwest parts of Serengeti. Keep in mind, however, that the migration pattern can shift depending on rainfall.

Your guide will work to find these herds and ensure you're in the best position for viewing. And where there are herds, there are often predators, so if you're fortunate, you might even witness a hunt. You'll spend the night at the Seronera public campsites, immersing yourself in the heart of the Serengeti.

Central serengeti national park

After an early breakfast at 6:30 a.m., you'll set off on a morning drive to spot a variety of wildlife until the afternoon. Then, you'll stop at a picnic spot for lunch before packing up. As you leave Serengeti, enjoy another exciting drive toward Simba Campsite, located about 2 hours away near the edge of Ngorongoro Crater. You'll spend the night at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, ready for another day of adventure ahead.

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast at around 6:15 a.m., you'll descend into the crater in search of the elusive black rhino. These animals can be tricky to spot in this stunning landscape, as the other wildlife is more visible on the crater floor.

Following a lunch break, you'll continue your wildlife adventure with another game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Later, you'll make your way back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari with Goin Tanzania Safaris.
